Please read this in full before attending your Physiotherapy appointment, 1:1 Reformer Pilates, In-Person Classes, purchasing any content, watching any videos or joining any Zoom:

  – By attending, watching, reading or engaging with the information, video, blog posts and other material provided by TM Physiotherapy Limited in our clinic, on this site, or on Facebook/Instagram or any other online platform where TM Physiotherapy Limited videos are shown you are acknowledging and agreeing you have read and understood the following Terms & Conditions.

  – It is also recommended to discuss with your GP or Health Care Professional prior to commencing any new exercise programme. Start with the basic levels and progress as you feel ready to. The classes are broken into levels, level 1 covering all basic principles and building on these principles with each progressing level.

  – It is important to listen to your body when doing the classes or practising any of the exercises, in particular if you feel tired or begin to experience discomfort. None of the exercises should cause you any pain. If you should experience pain please stop immediately.

  – With any exercise there exists the possibility of certain dangers such as abnormal blood pressure, fainting, irregular/fast/slow heartbeat. It is impossible to predict the body’s response to exercise, therefore if you have any underlying health issues or concerns, please discuss with your healthcare professional/consultant/GP if the content and exercises are suitable for you.

  – If you attend classes in person, please inform the instructor and fully disclose all medical information so the exercises will be suitable for you. All exercises are undertaken at your own risk and TM Physiotherapy Limited or its affiliates can’t be held responsible for any injuries.

  – Please inform our Physiotherapist’s if you are currently Pregnant or Post-Partum. It is essential that you provide us with this information before beginning Physiotherapy or Pilates with us.

– Attending a pilates class or reformer session you are consenting that you are in good health and responsible for your own actions in the class. You accept any risk that may be involved using the equipment or performing exercises.  

Do NOT undertake any of the exercises provided by TM Physiotherapy Limited available on this website, Facebook/Instagram or any other online platforms, blog, newsletter or emails, if any of the following applies to you:

  – A Doctor or other Healthcare Professional has ever informed you that you should refrain from exercising or undertaking Pilates for any reason.

  – A Doctor or other Healthcare Professional has ever informed you that you have an underlying heart condition or that you should exercise under the direct supervision of a Doctor or Healthcare Professional.

  – You are suffering from uncontrolled high blood pressure or low blood pressure.

  – You are suffering from any undiagnosed pain or are generally feeling unwell.

  – You have undergone any surgery in the past 6 months or have underlying injuries. Please discuss starting Pilates/Yoga with your consultant or Healthcare Professional first if Pilates is suitable for you.

  – You have any joint or muscular issues that may be aggravated by exercise.

  – If you are pregnant or postnatal, please select the classes that are designed for you and again check with your Doctor and relevant Healthcare Professional to make sure Pilates/Yoga are safe for you to take part in.

  – This is NOT an exhaustive list and you acknowledge and understand that any physical exercise can expose the risk of serious injury. It is advisable if you are unsure if Pilates is suitable for you, please seek medical advice before starting.

– By use of the website, social media pages and the content you acknowledge that you hereby waive, release and forever discharge TM Physiotherapy Limited and the respective heirs, directors, officers, agents, employees, representatives, successors, administrators, executors and all others associated with TM Physiotherapy Limited from any and all responsibilities or liability from injuries or damages resulting from or connected with your participation in any of the TM Physiotherapy Limited exercise programmes produced by us (including newsletters, emails, blog posts, videos, Facebook, Instagram and other sites hosting content) for any reason.

By accessing any of the videos or content you are hereby agreeing that you have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions listed above.

If you are receiving any dry needling or acupuncture treatment you are aware of the health care risks involved with such treatments.

Acupuncture and Dry Needling are treatment techniques in which fine, sterile needles are inserted into specific parts of the body to produce a therapeutic effect – such as pain relief or improved muscle function.
Acupuncture and Dry- Needling are generally very safe. Serious side effects (including pierced internal organ or nerve injury) are very rare occurring less than 1 per 10,000.

You need to be aware that:
• Drowsiness occurs after treatment in a small number of patients and if affected, you are advised not to drive.
• Minor bleeding or bruising can occur post treatment in a small number of cases
• Pain during treatment can occur in a small number of cases
• Existing symptoms can get worse after treatment in a small number of cases
• Fainting can occasionally occur in certain patients, particularly at the first treatment
• Single-use, disposable needles are always used in this clinic.
• All physiotherapists at this clinic providing this treatment have undertaken recognized
external training to become proficient in delivering this form of treatment.
